The start of another week. Monday 14th of October 2013. As always no time to do much here. I did promise to try and do a daily photo though.
This is my photo for today. As you can see I have been looking after my little GD2. We played with the dollies. The big one in the pink dress with the lop sided eyes was mine when I was a child as was the tiny tears on the right. The one in the middle belonged to Saskia and was named Muffalina!
Hope she thinks of a better name for our coming grandchild!
Oh, she's so pretty. Favors Ellie a lot. They're just growing up so fast, Jilly. My Sarah is just so grown it is both joyful and sad.
ReplyDeleteWell, I know it is hard for you to do these posts but I'm really enjoying them. I'm still hoping I'll get to do a trip to England. I'm setting a goal for myself. One major trip each year as long as I have a job. LOL, and insurance.
Oh, my - she is growing so quickly. Think of when Saskia first received Muffalina! I would wager that many days that would seem just yesterday - and now she's preparing for her own. I've forgotten - do we know if she's expecting a boy or girl?
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable. I wish I still had the dolls I grew up with. Your's look like they've survived the years of love quite well.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new little one on the way.
She is so cute!! Love the dolls, too! I had a Tiny Tears when I was little! I know you two had some fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo Jilly. My late sister had a tiny tears doll-which I have in my craft room now
ReplyDeletelove the photo, I remember how I enjoyed tidying up my daughters bedroom which entailed dressing and arranging all her dolls :-) It really is a very cute photo, def one to cherish.
